Yoga at the yurts

Rest and recuperation at its best with private yoga at the yurts.

We have worked with the lovely Sue Wood since we opened our yurt doors in 2017. Sue has run incredible yoga retreats and private yoga sessions at Country Bumpkin Yurts for many of our wonderful guests. Would you like to enjoy yoga at the yurts during your staycation? Read on to find out more about Sue, her approach to yoga, and how to book a yoga session at the yurts.

Meet Sue

Sue is a local Yogi who has been teaching vinyasa flow, pregnancy yoga, and slow flow yoga for about 8 years. More recently, Sue has undertaken Teen yoga training. She is at her absolute happiest teaching with grass under her mat and blue skies above in the local park, in her garden, or further afield at UK festivals and more local retreats. Sue loves the sense of freedom and self-confidence found through teaching yoga and she can’t wait to share her practice with you.

When available, Sue can join your group at the yurts and lead you through a yoga session outside on the grass or under the gazebo. Groups can be up to 16 people. You can expect to move through different dynamic sequences, to both listen to and challenge your body and enjoy the calm and release from the everyday. If the weather is due to be bad, the local village hall can be booked for the yoga session at an additional cost.

The yoga session can be tailored to your group. I believe some of our glamping hen parties have enjoyedYurt Booking 80’s style yoga with the leg warmers and matching music playlist!

How to book yoga at the yurts:

  1. Email Sue at planetsooo@hotmail.com to enquire about her availability and the type of session you’d like.
  2. Sue will then work with you to create the best session for your group (if she is available, of course). The price will depend on the number of people and the style of the session.
  3. Payment is to be sorted via Sue.
  4. Simply wait till your staycation comes around, then enjoy some wonderful outdoor yoga.

Happy stretching!
