Covid-19 Questions

Yes we are taking glamping bookings in line with current Gov guidelines. Please see these below before booking. Please note that these are subject to change. Any bookings that are further restricted will be given the opportunity to postpose to future dates.

From April 12th 2021 you can stay with us as a single household. One household per yurt and one yurt per booking. Please note the hot tub will out of use from 12th April – 17th May 2021 so all bookings between these dates will not have access to the hot tub due to Covid-19 restrictions.

From 17th May 2021 we can accept bookings adhering to the rule of 6 or 2 households per yurt. The rules for outdoors allows up to 30 people, therefore multiple yurts may socialize outside but social distance measures need to be maintained an no mixing inside the yurts with other yurts.

From 21st June onwards business resumes as normal.

Yes, all bookings are made under the Coronavirus Guarantee, which will allow you to postpone your booking to future dates. Our Coronavirus Guarantee can viewed in the Terms and Conditions. For the full T&Cs click here.

If you have booked under our Coronavirus Booking Guarantee then you will not be entitled to a refund if your booking is affected by Coronavirus. You will instead be able to move your booking to any available dates (may incur price differences) up until the end of 2021. For the full T&Cs click here.

Yes, all of our yurts are self-contained with their own private bathroom and kitchenette and outside areas. There is still a communal kitchen accessible for our guests to use various kitchen appliances such as a microwave and toaster but we have guidelines in place to help keep our guests safe. Our hot tub is also shared, but, again, there are procedures in place to reduce risk and this will not be accessible between 12th April – 17th May 2021.

The inside space is limited, so maintaining social distancing would be very difficult inside the yurt. Bookings have to be made with government guidelines in mind and we advise one yurt per household. Please refer to the Question ‘What are the current Covid-19 restrictions’ for further info.

We have thorough cleaning procedures in place between guests. We use hospital-grade cleaning solutions to clean all surfaces, we ventilate the yurts during the changeover, and all staff wear suitable PPE to protect themselves and our guests. All bedding and towels and blankets are washed above 60*c.

The majority of our facilities are now private. Offering private facilities means our guests can easily socially distance from other glampers. We have added a third bathroom so each yurt has its own bathroom bathroom facility. Each of our yurts also now have their own kitchenette so that guests can enjoy cooking al-fresco without having to use the shared kitchen. The kitchenettes each have a gas stove, pots, pans and utensils, crockery, cutlery, washing up station and a water canister. The main kitchen will also still be accessible to fill up the water containers and for use of the toaster, microwave, and mains fridge and freezer if required. We ask for no more than one yurt/household to be in the kitchen at any one time and for the touch points and surfaces to be cleaned with the materials provided before and after use.

We also operate a contactless check in. All information is provided in pre-arrival emails and a welcome book inside each yurt. We are then just a phone call or text away should our guests have any questions whilst they are settling in.

General Questions

The yurts can accommodate up to 14 people in total. Two of our yurts, Nutkin and Ginger & Pickles, sleep up to 6 people in one double bed and up to 4 single beds. Our smaller yurt, Puddleduck, accommodates 2 people in a king size bed.

When the full site is booked for one party then we do allow our guests to pitch tents to accommodate extra people over the 14 that the yurts can accommodate. Unless all three yurts are booked, we do not allow tents to be pitched. There is an extra charge per person per night, please contact us to add tents to your booking.

Each yurt has its own private bathroom and kitchenette so our guests can glamp isolated if they wish to do so. We have one wooden gazebo area and one wood fired hot tub that is shared between the three yurts and our main communal kitchen is shared if our guests need to have access to a toaster or microwave.

Yes, glamping with a hot tub is a must! We have one shared wood-fired hot tub between our three yurts. Use of the hot tub is included in the cost of your stay. Up to 6 people can be inside at any one time. The water in the tub is treated and we ask all guests to sanitize the touch points before and after use to keep the area safe.

No, we do not operate a booking schedule for the hot tub, it is available for the duration of your stay. We ask our guests to be respectful of our guests using it and follow our COVID-19 guidelines and house rules for using it.

Arrival is any time from 3pm and departure is 10.30am.

Yes, we have a large wooden gazebo area (3m x 6m). This is a communal area. All three benches from the yurts can fit in this area.

Each yurt has its own private BBQ and tools. Guests just need to supply coal.

Yes, there is a firepit on site for guests to use. We ask that you do not bring your own firepits with you.

Yes, we do. Our site suits group bookings that enjoy relaxing and chatting around the campfire, rather than lively parties. Please just refer to our Terms and Conditions with regards to noise levels, hot tub usage and decorations.

Yes, we do. We allow up to 2 dogs per yurt at an extra cost of £5 per night per dog. These can be added when booking your stay via the website.

Yes, we are. Children love the space that we have to explore and play games. We have plenty of local walks nearby for families to enjoy and a great activity is watching the cattle on the farm! We also know a number of local attractions suitable for families to visit.
